Hi Guys,

I had completely forgotten about putting up the answers to this quiz. Unlike in the previous quizzes I will not be able to give you the list of 'winners' because, if you remember, when I sent across the Quiz I had not put in the 'Name' field. So I have no clue who said what. :-)

Ans. A monkey. One of Arjuna's many names is 'Kapidhwaja' - one who has a monkey on his flag. The emblem is said to represent Hanuman.

Ans. Jaya, which means victory is the other name by which scholars know the Mahabharata. 'Jaya' is the name by which the work is referred to in the first invocatory verse of the epic.

4. What was the first product that emerged from the "Churning of the Ocean"?
Ans. Poison - Halahala

5. Who fought valiantly but unsuccessfuly against Ravana when he was kidnapping Sita?
Ans. Jataayu
