Dear Friends,
I have been sending the emails/posting on this Blog regularly [well almost ;-)] for more than 15 days now and thought that it was time to ask you for your opinion. I am looking for answers to a few queries so that I can fine tune the emails specifically to your requirements.
Do you think the emails have been useful? Do you find them interesting? Should I have more information per email? What are the other areas that you want me to cover?
If you have any other feedback please do not hesitate to let me know about the same. Kindly use the Comments section to let me know your opinions/ideas etc.
Looking forward to a candid feedback,
Ciao

ReplyDeleteThe emails have been really useful, and are interesting for sure. Though I would appreciate if there was more information per email. Also I want to know more about words and root words that sound similar but whose meaning is entirely different.
ReplyDeletemails are really usefull;expecting any other varieties as critical reasoning etc
ReplyDeleteSo far the emails have been really very interesting & informative as well. Apart from these, I would want your guidance on how to develop reasoning. Also wanted to know how does daily information on current affairs help in the various enterance exams. And on a daily basis the information per email is sufficient.

Vocabulary of a person is the person's ability to remember and use the appropriate word on the appropriate occassion. Often, with complex words, learning too many of them with a brief description within a short duration gives one only a vague idea of its meaning and usage.
ReplyDeleteYour e-mail series is definitely a positive step beyond the short-term memorisers (forgive me for the use of a non-existent word) and a boost to the long term memory as the etymology of the word is given to some depth with discussion on its usage.
Please continue sending us e-mails worth reading rather than taking an exam oriented approach.
Having said that, I personally feel weak in the Verbal Ability Section of the CAT. I know it can be a scoring section that can make a difference but i seem to be making too many mistakes. I would like to discuss my weak points. If you have the time to spare, please contact me on chirag_pal@lntenc.com to discuss further on the areas i can improve in Verbal as well as CAT in general.
Once again, please keep e-mailing and carry on with the same zest with which you have begun.
All the very best on your endeavour.
