Hi Folks,

Vietnam.

A certain Ramtanu Mishra was in the employment of the Raja of Rewah. He later moved to another court for employment. How do we better know him?
Tansen

King Charles II of England married the Portuguese princess Catherine of Braganza. How did this event affect Indian history?
The Portuguese transferred the islands that make up modern day Mumbai to the British as the dowry of Catherine.

“A boy is born, A boy is born, A boy is born”. What message was being conveyed here?
The signing of the Simla Agreement.

What was unique about the personal bodyguards of the Maurya rulers?
They were all women.

There were a 105 entries for this quiz as opposed to 166 for the quiz on Current Affairs. Was it because the questions were so tough or was it because history is not exactly everyone’s favourite topic??? But the number of all-correct entries suggests that I probably made it a bit too tough. What say? Lemme know your opinion in the comments section and I will work on the level of difficulty accordingly.

And now to the people who have got all the answers right:
Jino Peechanatt
vaibhav katiyar
Anmol Sharma
Ratan Rajpurohit
Balaji Damodaran
Swara
Very well done and looking forward to the same level of performance next time too.

Ciao
Gautam
